THE MEDIA TEAM
The BYP Media teams works on digital design, photography, and various other media-related projects that reflect their own representation of the Braddock community. The team partners heavily with the Neighborhood Print Shop screen-printing studio, located in Braddock Carnegie Library. There they learn the technical process of screen-printing, which can then be used as an accessible, cost effective technique to mass produce their own imagery and words.
The Media Team also plans and executes the "Makers of Media" series, inviting professional media-makers of color to talk about their educational and career paths that led them to success in a media-related field.
